Job title: Service Sales Specialist
About the Role The Service Sales Specialist reports to the Head of Service Sales and focuses on selling the complete service offering to installed base customers in the designated Australian territory. You will build trustworthy, customer-centric relationships and collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to accelerate turbocharging service adoption.
What You'll Do
- Implement service sales strategy; penetrate installed base; promote service agreements, upgrades, retrofits; align with pricing strategies.
- Develop sales plans, monitor, propose recovery plans.
- Identify opportunities to achieve volume and margin targets across service products.
- Generate leads and explore new market opportunities.
- Build sustainable customer relationships; capture requirements; ensure customer satisfaction throughout sales process.
- Sells entire service portfolio; tailor offerings to customer needs; manage contract details and administrative processes.
- Represent the brand at marketing events; act as ambassador.
- Contribute to health, safety and integrity; risk assessments; ensure data accuracy in database.
What We're Looking For
- Tertiary qualification (Degree) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
- 3-5 years Service sales experience, ideally in power plant or marine sectors.
- Turbocharging and/or engine services sales experience is an added advantage.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; PowerPoint; strong communication; attention to detail; problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English (written & verbal); Swahili and French add bonus.
- Must have valid driver's license, own transport, and passport.
- Willingness and ability to travel within assigned territory.
Nice to Have
- Swahili and French language skills are an added advantage.
- Turbocharging/engine services sales experience is beneficial.
