About the Role
Teradyne is seeking a Service Materials Manager responsible for managing the global flow of service materials to Teradyne customers and ensuring delivery targets are met. The role combines demand forecasting, spare parts analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive service performance and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Manage the overall flow of service materials worldwide to support Teradyne customers and meet delivery targets.
- Review and analyze service spares requirements monthly or as needed, including Last Time Buys; recommend budget changes with justification and execute on-time purchases.
- Perform Demand Forecasting & Analysis; conduct parts inventory analysis to align with Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Review weekly repair schedule and align capacity with Repair Operations.
- Provide Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) reports on delivery issues and related matters.
- Respond to customer inquiries through internal channels, provide timely feedback & updates, and escalate as necessary.
- Work closely with global cross-functional teams on related matters.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and innovative projects.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in service materials management, spare parts planning, and global supply chain coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and inventory analysis to meet SLA.
- Ability to prepare RCCA reports and identify root causes of delivery issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to respond to customer inquiries and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and managing Last Time Buy processes.
- Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
