About the Role
Be the face of Tetra Pak. Deliver excellence at customer sites in our global service organization. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize processing and packaging equipment to ensure uninterrupted production and safe, high-quality outputs. This role is based in Asunción, Paraguay with up to 90% travel to customer sites.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites, resolve technical issues, and support equipment installations.
- Evaluate equipment performance, escalate complex problems, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure high-quality service.
- Train operators and contribute to improving day-to-day production efficiency.
- Maintain safety, food quality standards, and reporting.
- Monitor service contracts and identify opportunities to improve service delivery while managing stakeholder expectations.
- Represent Tetra Pak professionally and provide practical suggestions to improve customer operations and service experience.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols.
- What We're Looking For
- Education in industrial systems, automation and engineering or equivalent; mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Solid background in Industrial Systems, Automation, Engineering, or related field; 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, service, or installation roles.
- Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and automation principles; familiarity with PLCs (Rockwell and Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems (AVEVA InTouch/Beijer); networking (Profibus, Profinet).
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (up to 90%).
- Intermediate English, good communication skills, and a valid driver's license.
- Proactive, customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and collaborative approach.
- Nice to Have
- Knowledge and experience with Rockwell and Siemens PLCs, HMI & SCADA beyond basics will be highly valued.
