Summary:
Microsoft is hiring a Software Engineer for the Protection Level X (PLx) team. The role focuses on building and managing secure cloud and hybrid environments for U.S. Department of Defense and Defense Industrial Base customers using Azure technologies.
Responsibilities include deploying and managing Microsoft services, automating infrastructure with PowerShell and Bicep, ensuring compliance with federal security standards, supporting incident response and vulnerability management, maintaining security documentation, and mentoring engineers on secure system design.
Candidates need a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, 2+ years of engineering experience, and an active U.S. Government Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph. Preferred qualifications include experience with Azure networking, Bicep, and large-scale cloud or distributed systems.
