Job title: Service Engineer
Location: Lagos
Role Summary
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems) to ensure safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Provide technical support both in the workshop and at field sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and software.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance (engines, transmissions, brakes, electronics).
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs.
- Conduct pre-delivery and post-repair inspections.
- Prepare service reports, job cards, and maintenance records.
- Liaise with customers to explain technical issues and solutions.
Requirements
- B.Eng / HND in Mechanical, Automotive, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive service / repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
- Experience with heavy-duty trucks (e.g., SINOTRUK, HOWO, Volvo, MAN) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
