Job title: Service Engineer – Air Compressors
Overview
Service Engineer – Air Compressors is advertised for Rivers State, Nigeria. Salary is ₦3.3 Million – ₦5 Million per annum.
Responsibilities
- Commission, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair air compressors and air dryers
- Conduct preventive maintenance and equipment health checks to minimize downtime
- Lead and supervise service technicians, providing technical and operational guidance
- Ensure efficient utilization of service personnel and resources
- Maintain high service quality and customer satisfaction standards
- Manage and forecast spare parts and service consumables
- Prepare accurate service reports and Work in Progress (WIP) documentation
- Identify opportunities for spare parts sales, maintenance contracts, equipment upgrades, and other aftermarket solutions
- Build and strengthen customer relationships
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop appropriate technical and service solutions
Requirements
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 2–4 years’ hands-on experience in air compressor maintenance and repair
- Proven experience servicing Oil-Free, Piston, Electric Lubricated, and Portable Air Compressors
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills in air compressors and air dryers
- Good knowledge of compressor selection, application, installation, commissioning, and maintenance
- Ability to provide customers with technical guidance on equipment operation and efficiency
- Proficiency in MS Office and service documentation
- Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills
