About the Role Accelleron is seeking a Service Engineer to perform maintenance and inspection of marine turbochargers. You will diagnose turbocharger issues, perform maintenance, and support customers through service reporting, tool organization, and workplace and environmental responsibilities. Occasional travel (about 2 trips per month, 2–3 days each) is required.
What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance inspections and troubleshooting on shipboard turbochargers; identify problems and carry out maintenance.
- Confirm customer needs, prepare service reports, and maintain tool inventory and clean working environment.
- Manage industrial waste and organic solvents in compliance with regulations; support route planning and safety.
- Travel (approximately 2 trips per month, 2–3 days per trip) and coordinate on-site service activities.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in machinery with hands-on maintenance experience or industrial knowledge.
- Self-motivated, with good communication and strong teamwork; continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to participate in Buddy-system training for 6 months; post-training, take on increasing responsibilities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with new fuels (e.g., hydrogen, ammonia) and adapting to evolving fuel technology.
Compensation & Benefits
- Working hours: 08:30–17:30; full-time.
- Holidays: fully off on weekends and public holidays; summer and year-end holidays as specified.
- Paid leave: up to 12 days in first year, pro-rated; increases with tenure.
- Transportation allowance; commuting support per company policy.
- Bonuses: quarterly bonuses (special allowances twice yearly totaling 4 months of salary) plus annual incentive bonus based on company and individual performance.
- Pension: defined contribution plan with monthly company contribution up to 8% of salary and cap of 55,000 JPY per month.
