Job title: Service Delivery Consultant
About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated IT consultant to join SimCorp's Configuration Deployment Service (CDS) team. You will work in our global SaaS Operations delivery unit, supporting deployment scenarios for cloud environments and promoting configurations from source to target in an automated process. You will engage with clients remotely, participate in deployment meetings, and collaborate with CDS experts worldwide to deliver effective solutions.
What You'll Do
- Support the CDS team to be efficient and accountable for service delivery across different time zones
- Engage in configuration deployments and contribute to service deliveries and client meetings
- Plan and prepare deployment windows together with the client and the team
- Create configuration packages based on client definitions and follow up on deployments
- Document and report in line with defined service procedures
- Collaborate with Service Owners and client stakeholders
- Advise on process improvements based on lessons learned from daily operation
- Play an active part in our global Configuration Deployment Service network
What We're Looking For
- Master in Computer Science, Natural Science, Economics or similar qualification
- Some experience configuring and deploying components of complex standard software applications in the financial sector or financial services industry
- Technical affinity and eagerness to learn new technical content
- Experience in Windows Server environment and basic exposure to cloud technology
- Interest in or knowledge of processes in the investment industry
- Service-minded with a positive mindset; experience in ITIL framework
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with impact on results
- Proficient analytical skills and a solution-oriented attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- APAC shift hours with flexibility (may change depending on business needs)
- Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
Nice to Have
- Experience in the financial industry and/or SaaS operations
- Prior exposure to cross-location teams and client-facing roles
- Familiarity with additional cloud platforms beyond initial touchpoints
