Position Summary

Foundation Software, a rapidly growing national provider of construction software, is seeking results-driven SEO professional to increase organic search visibility, attract qualified website traffic, and generate measurable business growth across our suite of products and services.

Reporting to the Director of Paid Media, this role combines SEO strategy with hands-on execution. You will lead keyword research, technical SEO improvements, content optimization, competitor analysis, and link-building initiatives while partnering with our marketing, content, development, and sales teams.

The ideal candidate is an analytical, proactive SEO professional who can identify growth opportunities, translate data into actionable recommendations, and see projects through implementation. You will develop and execute SEO roadmaps, monitor performance, and communicate the impact of your work on traffic, engagement, and conversions.

Responsibilities

• SEO strategy and performance

• Develop and maintain quarterly SEO roadmaps aligned with business and marketing objectives.

• Monitor organic search performance and identify opportunities to improve qualified traffic, visibility, and conversions.

• Report on results, progress against goals, and the business impact of implemented initiatives.

• Technical SEO and website optimization

• Audit websites for technical issues affecting crawling, indexing, site structure, and organic performance.

• Partner with developers to implement SEO best practices and validate website changes.

• Manage and prioritize technical and on-page SEO improvements across multiple websites.

• Keyword research and content strategy

• Conduct keyword and competitor research to identify content gaps and organic growth opportunities.

• Collaborate with content teams to optimize existing pages and develop search-focused content briefs.

• Improve internal linking, content relevance, and website architecture to support user needs and search visibility.

• Authority and competitive analysis

• Evaluate backlink profiles and competitor strategies to identify opportunities to strengthen website authority.

• Develop ethical link-building initiatives that support brand awareness and organic growth.

• Monitor changes in the search landscape and recommend appropriate strategic adjustments.

• Conversion optimization and collaboration

• Identify opportunities to improve user journeys, landing-page effectiveness, and conversion rates.

• Collaborate with paid search, marketing, web development, and sales teams to align organic and paid search initiatives.

• Use analytics and testing to evaluate the effectiveness of SEO recommendations and inform future priorities.
