About the Role
Reaktiv is seeking senior and lead WordPress developers for a 3-6+ month contract (25-35 hours per week). You will help build, maintain, support, and refactor WordPress sites and content management systems, create custom plugins and themes, and work with enterprise clients. This is a fully distributed team role requiring collaboration, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem solving. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain WordPress sites and CMSs for clients.
- Create custom WordPress plugins and themes that scale to client needs.
- Leverage PHP and JavaScript, and work with SQL, HTML5, CSS, and CSS preprocessors.
- Participate in positive, collaborative peer code reviews.
- Work with a distributed team via Slack, Asana, Notion, and Zoom.
- Implement automated deployment workflows and use Git or similar version control.
