Senior Windows Server Administrator

About the Role The Senior Windows Server Administrator provides advanced support for Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) to keep core infrastructure healthy, secure, and compliant. You will deploy, upgrade, and optimize server platforms while driving reliability through monitoring, DR exercises, and effective change management. What You'll Do

• Provide advanced support for Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
• Troubleshoot and resolve L2 incidents/service requests within SLAs
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, deployments of infrastructure components
• Tune server performance, apply patches/updates, and manage backup/restore operations
• Monitor infrastructure health via tools (SCCM, Intune, Logic Monitor) and generate reports
• Conduct DR planning and periodic drills; support compliance and change management
• Collaborate with L1 teams to resolve complex issues and ensure clear communication with stakeholders
• Maintain server security posture through audits, hardening, and vulnerability remediation
• Support configuration management, endpoint policies, and software deployment
• Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and contribute to the IT knowledge base What We're Looking For
• Experience providing advanced Windows Server support (2016/2019/2022)
• Strong incident management skills with ability to meet SLAs (L2)
• Experience with system upgrades, migrations, and deployments
• Proficiency in tuning performance, applying patches, and backups/restores
• Familiarity with SCCM, Intune, LogicMonitor
• DR planning and testing; knowledge of compliance and change management
• Ability to collaborate with L1 teams and communicate with stakeholders clearly
• Focus on security: audits, hardening, vulnerability remediation
• Experience with configuration management, endpoint policies, and software deployment
• Strong documentation skills; ability to create SOPs and contribute to the knowledge base
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: MCSE; ITIL Foundation (preferred) Nice to Have
