Job title: Senior Underwriter, North America Fronting
About the Role This is a Senior Underwriter role focused on North America Fronting, supporting complex fronting accounts and working with cross-functional teams to verify program structure and reinsurer details. You will report to the Senior Team Leader and help ensure compliant, efficient fronting bookings throughout the cycle.
What You'll Do
- Work with Captive Solutions Fronting Team and Product pillars to verify program structure and reinsurer details.
- Collaborate with Legal, Actuarial, Credit & Collateral Management to ensure deals are in full compliance.
- Once bound, collect program (premium and claims) details and reinsurance documentation.
- Perform sanctions and screening checks.
- Work with Associate Underwriter to ensure booking and coding on accounts are completed.
- Ensure cash collections and onward transfers to captives/reinsurers are prompt and in line with bookings.
- Resolve account-related questions from internal peers and/or Clients/Brokers; escalate to leadership as needed.
- Make independent sales calls to market and cross-market products, referring declined business to other AIG divisions as appropriate.
- Participate in client (internal/external) conference calls.
- Prepare for and help respond to captive audits.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years relevant experience, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Articulate and personable with strong client/broker communication.
- Proactive, highly motivated, well-organized, and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines; flexible to client needs.
- Ability to influence and manage with strong communication, relationship, organizational and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and collaborating with a wide range of colleagues.

- Demonstrated ability to understand and work with analytical tools, reports and technology.
- Computer literacy required: Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word).
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $80,000-$100,000; eligible for a bonus per applicable incentive plan.
