About this role

We have an exciting opportunity for a positive and enthusiastic professional to join our highly skilled underwriting team in Consumer Lines.

Underwrite and analyze risks for new and renewal of Accident & Health (A&H) business in accordance with company guideline
Review policy wording, endorsements and quotations to ensure alignment with underwriting guidelines and business objectives
Assess submissions, negotiate terms, and determine appropriate pricing and coverage conditions.
Develop and maintain relationships with producers to support business retention, encourage new business opportunities, obtain necessary underwriting information, and deliver quality service
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support efficient case handling and service delivery
Support other ad-hoc business assignments and projects as required

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
At least 5 years of underwriting experience in A&H products
Proactive, independent, and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skill
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and contribute to a positive team culture
Customer-focused with a strong drive for execution
Strong spoken and written English and Chinese
Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Underwriter role
