About this role

Who are we looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Treasury, preferably including at least 2 years working with trusts or preparing trustee instructions.
  • Intermediate English preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and advanced formulas; macros are a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Dynamics, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with electronic banking and trustee platforms.
  • Knowledge of trust operations and Mexico’s General Law of Negotiable Instruments and Credit Transactions (LGTOC).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Power BI or other reporting tools are a plus.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and proactivity.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit trustee instructions for payments, transfers, investments, contributions, distributions, and release of funds, ensuring compliance with trust agreements and internal approvals.
  • Follow up with trustees on the execution of instructions and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Reconcile trust and bank account balances, transactions, and statements against internal records.
  • Manage daily cash flow and prepare weekly and monthly liquidity forecasts.
  • Prepare treasury reports, including cash position, trust balances, investments, and debt, for Treasury Management and the Finance Department.
  • Monitor trust and financing obligations, including reserves, reporting requirements, interest payments, derivatives, and debt amortizations.
  • Process payments to vendors and creditors through electronic banking platforms and manage surplus cash investments in accordance with company policies.
  • Prepare information for trust technical committees and internal and external audits.
  • Maintain complete and up-to-date trust documentation, including agreements, amendments, authorized signatures, transfer records, and instruction letters.
  • Support relationships with banks and trustees, special projects, and continuous improvement of treasury processes and controls.
