About this role

Direct Responsibilities
Responsible for sales of trade finance products to meet assigned revenue budget
Origination of new trade business, and maximize utilization of existing clients to grow revenues and fees income
Liaise with Supply Chain Management and Cash Management to develop total product solutions
Collaborate with Trade Syndication on documentary trade/bank guarantee deals
Collaborate with Global Capital Markets on structured and completed trade deals
Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
Contributing Responsibilities
Establish and strengthen bank's market positioning / industry ranking
Identifying new market segments/industries to expand the bank's footprint in trade finance
Cross selling for Cash Management, Supply Chain Management and FX
Active engagement in trade corridors with APAC/EMEA to identify new opportunities
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Deep understanding of trade finance products (documentary credit, documentary collections, bank guarantees)
Comprehensive risk management (credit, liquidity and operational risk)
Strong structuring and implementation skills in trade related products
Good team player and willing to share, able to work in close cooperation with other business lines/departments

Specific Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related quantitative field
8+ years of experience in trade finance with solid product knowledge and good understanding of corporates' requirements
Native in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
