About the Role You will contribute to mission-critical quality assurance for the Avigilon Alta Video platform, helping evolve AI and real-time systems and designing scalable automated testing across UI, API, and backend. The role is based in Uxbridge with a hybrid work model and focuses on building reliable, high-performance testing tools for safety-critical solutions. What You'll Do
- Architect modern test frameworks using TypeScript/Playwright across UI, API, and backend systems.
- Design and scale sophisticated automated testing frameworks to validate cross-stack (UI, API, backend) components.
- Build, secure, and refine CI/CD infrastructure to automates the software lifecycle and drive high-velocity release cycles.
- Perform specialized performance engineering with tools like k6 to design, execute, and analyze load, stress, and spike tests on high-performance, real-time systems.
- Directly contribute to Mission-Critical Quality Assurance by assuring the quality of cutting-edge solutions and evolving AI quality strategy toward continuous benchmarks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams; mentor and uplift engineering quality across the product portfolio. What We're Looking For
- Champion a culture of quality and act as a collaborative mentor across the engineering team.
- Expert-level proficiency in modern programming languages with architectural insight to uphold rigorous standards.
- Proven ability to architect, develop, and scale automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and backend validation.
- Expertise in building, securing, and refining CI/CD infrastructure to fully automate the software lifecycle and enable high-velocity releases.
- Proven expertise in performance engineering, specifically utilizing tools like k6.
- Advanced diagnostic capabilities for deconstructing complex system failures and implementing preventative measures. Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript/Playwright.
- Senior-level experience managing Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or complex orchestration ecosystems.
- Specialized knowledge of video engineering, low-latency streaming, or digital media delivery pipelines.
- Background in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) automation or firmware testing.
- Experience leading automation initiatives across Mobile (iOS/Android) and Web platforms. Compensation & Benefits
