Job title: Senior Technician - Strategy & Planning
About the Role The Senior Technician - Strategy & Planning is part of the Sullivan Park Operations Directorate within the Laboratory Services Management & Engineering Department. The role provides professional services in project management, infrastructure engineering, and laboratory space management, with primary responsibility for database administration and oversight of the Sullivan Park CMMS (Maximo).
What You'll Do
- Administer and maintain the Maximo CMMS database, ensure data integrity, audit for accuracy, and train employees.
- Collaborate with PM/design teams to provide Maximo data and asset numbers; support the LSME Exhaust Inspection Program in Maximo; build customer reports; and assist with project turnover, closeout, and receivership.
- Interact with customers to understand processes, maintain relationships, and provide effective Maximo support; coordinate with corporate MTE groups and participate in user/administrator networking sessions.
- Develop and sustain CMMS written processes and procedures; support safety initiatives and the department's safety requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Experience administering CMMS systems, especially Maximo, and ensuring data integrity.
- Knowledge of asset management, facility infrastructure, and project support in an R&D/lab environment.
- Strong customer interfacing skills and ability to translate customer needs into Maximo configurations.
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and maintain documentation.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Exhaust Inspection Programs and related regulatory/compliance requirements.
- Prior cross-functional collaboration with corporate MTE groups.
