Job title: Senior Technical Architect
Salesforce is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to design and manage the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for enterprise clients. You will be a big-picture thinker and an in-depth problem solver, designing scalable, high-volume architectures and working closely with stakeholders and Salesforce product teams. You will also contribute to pre-sales discussions and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations.
- Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions; lead technical design sessions; architect and document solutions; identify gaps between current and desired end states.
- Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects; define and follow coding standards; lead code reviews.
- Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration; ensure solutions are scalable and performant.
- Maintain a target billable utilization; deep-dive to debug issues.
- Participate in pre-sales activities such as discovery, technical deep-dive sessions, and POC development with prospects.
- Liaise with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations.
- Travel to client sites for projects (50-75%).
What We're Looking For
- 14-20+ years CRM experience with a minimum of 8 years on the Salesforce platform.
- Degree or equivalent proven experience.
- Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite (Sales, Service, Community, Marketing Clouds).
- Strong understanding of systems architecture and the ability to design scalable, performance-driven solutions.
- Knowledge of design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices; data sharing and visibility considerations.
- Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
- Experience with data integration tools and integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, CPQ, marketing automation, reporting).
- Strong environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies.
- Experience with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL).
- Active Salesforce certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; willingness to travel (50-75%).
