Senior Tax Associate

About the Role The Senior Tax Associate will have the opportunity to lead as part of a team on a wide range of domestic and international tax projects. With a strong M&A tax practice and a highly regarded tax planning, disputes and advisory team, the role involves a mix of transactional and advisory work and requires a broad range of experience across corporate tax. Given our emphasis on client service, providing clear advice within the commercial context is paramount, and you will be involved in developing and executing our business development strategy. What You'll Do

• Lead as part of a team on a very wide range of both domestic and international tax projects.
• Work across transactional and advisory work, including M&A tax due diligence and complex economic modelling and valuations where appropriate, and contribute to tax planning and disputes matters.
• Provide clear, commercially grounded tax advice to clients.
• Be involved in developing and executing the firm's business development strategy and client service initiatives.
• Collaborate with and contribute to Baker McKenzie’s London tax team, which includes specialists across transfer pricing, VAT/Indirect tax and global tax practices. What We're Looking For
• Qualified solicitor with broad experience in all areas of corporate tax.
• Experience across M&A tax, tax planning, disputes and advisory work.
• Ability to provide clear, client-centric advice with a strong understanding of commercial context.
• Strong service ethic and collaborative approach; willingness to contribute to business development and client engagement.
• Track record of working in or with London-based tax teams and large, integrated tax practices.
