Senior Tax Accountant: Public Accounting

Our client a boutique tax firm servicing Ultra High Net Wort clients continues to build out their office in Fairfield, CT. They are looking for a motivated tax professional to join their respected team. This opportunity offers broad exposure to both business and individual tax matters, along with the chance to build experience across other functions. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for high net worth families, corporations, and partnerships.
• Support tax planning and compliance efforts by researching regulations and applying guidance to client situations.
• Work closely with senior team members to identify issues, resolve discrepancies, and maintain high-quality client deliverables.
• Contribute to audit and consulting engagements to broaden technical knowledge and gain exposure to additional service lines.
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to gather information, clarify questions, and help keep projects moving efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.

• At least 3 years of experience in tax, audit, or public accounting is required.

• Prior exposure to individual tax work is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.

• Strong analytical skills and careful attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities.

• Demonstrated interest in developing technical skills and growing within public accounting.
