About the Role
MTSI is seeking a Senior Task Order Project Manager for Deployment & Sustainment to lead and coordinate large-scale deployment initiatives. The role focuses on delivering on schedule, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction for programs in the Colorado Springs area.
What You'll Do
- Lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor deployment and sustainment tasks across multiple workstreams.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, risks, issues, and change control; track progress against milestones.
- Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders, prepare status reports, and manage customer communications.
- Ensure contract requirements, cost controls, and compliance are met; coordinate with internal teams and suppliers as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational inefficiencies; drive continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in program or project management for complex deployments and sustainment projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with government/defense contracting or large enterprise programs is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
Nice to Have
- Security clearance or clearable status; experience with DoD or similar agencies.
- Familiarity with earned value management and financial controls.
