Job title: Senior Talent Specialist

About the Role

As a Senior Talent Specialist, you will support both the Talent Team and serve as the initial point of contact for our manufacturing employees across Mukwonago and West Bend. You’ll maintain accurate employee data while delivering a high-quality employee experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role may require periodic travel to the West Bend facility and schedule flexibility to support multiple shifts.

What You'll Do

  • Document onsite employee inquiries and resolutions in the Workday Help case system to ensure accurate tracking and follow-up; address benefits, payroll, time/attendance, and internal Milwaukee Tool policies with empathy and professionalism.
  • Independently resolve general inquiries, escalate complex or sensitive issues to appropriate HR contacts, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Talent policies to ensure accurate case resolution.
  • Support employee data audits and data pulls for projects as necessary.
  • Employee Onboarding: create and distribute badges; facilitate new hire orientation; ensure all materials, technology, and facilities are prepared; complete Form I-9 within mandated timeframes and resolve E-Verify tentative non-confirmations; assist in Workday onboarding for all new hires; create/modify user accounts in related platforms.
  • HR Site Support: assist other HR teams with administrative tasks and data reporting, including meetings/events, job fairs, HRIS data entry, and supplies.
  • Compliance: maintain employee files in compliance with applicable laws and escalate concerns not in compliance.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or Communications or equivalent work experience; demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and empathy in sensitive employee situations; excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Working proficiency in Excel; experience using Workday and UKG (Kronos) preferred.
  • At least two years of experience supporting HR operations (preferred); experience in a manufacturing/operations environment is a plus.
