About this role
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Systems, RISC-V & BSP Engineer to build and own the reproducible Linux/RISC-V execution foundation powering both the hardware platform and One-Click environment.
This is a senior-level technical role for an engineer who can work across RISC-V, Linux kernel, BSPs, toolchains, build systems, CI and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) deployment. You’ll help transform complex vendor BSPs and development environments into a controlled, reproducible and production-ready platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Reproduce and control Firefly/SpacemiT BSP, kernel, device-tree, sysroot and toolchain builds.
- Own and document Yocto/OpenEmbedded/BitBake build paths and vendor layers.
- Build reproducible RISC-V cross-compilation environments and architecture matrices.
- Define target profiles covering ISA extensions, ABI, kernel, libc, runtime libraries and deployment constraints.
- Support OpenSBI/U-Boot/Linux integration at the BSP boundary.
- Implement CI runners, caching, artifact versioning and reproducibility checks.
- Create deployment and result-return workflows to physical K3 nodes and support HIL automation.
- Support C/C++ and Python/native workload dependency reconstruction.
- Train the engineering/platform team on builds, deployment and recovery.
Requirements

7+ years of Linux systems, BSP or embedded platform engineering experience.
-
RISC-V experience preferred; strong ARM/embedded Linux cross-build experience required.
-
Hands-on experience with Yocto/OE, BitBake, U-Boot, Linux kernel/device-tree, toolchains and CI.
-
Strong knowledge of Docker/OCI, Bash/Python and reproducible build practices.
-
