About the Role Senior System Test & Automation Engineer at Silvus Technologies (now part of Motorola Solutions) based in West Los Angeles, CA, onsite. You will collaborate with R&D to define performance requirements and build automated test setups for wireless systems in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do
- Design and test complete solutions using Silvus hardware and software that cover wireless system feature sets.
- Implement logging and log analysis tools to capture performance of both the systems under test and the test infrastructure.
- Help define new products and features, perform product evaluations and field tests for new product features and accessories.
- Work closely with software development to augment production test systems for rollout of new features and configurations.
- Perform manufacturing failure troubleshooting and root cause analysis; test and harden features via firmware and hardware changes. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in embedded firmware development and testing, scripting, embedded Linux, C/C++, Python; OR minimum 3 years with advanced degree.
- Demonstrated experience in wireless networking or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Proficient with lab instruments: signal generators, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts; background check and drug test required.
- Experience with TCP/IP networking; ability to work independently; strong communication and cross-functional collaboration. Nice to Have
- Experience with wireless/radio communication systems, RF signal propagation, and digital communication technologies.
- Additional experience with cross-functional teamwork and customer interactions. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $130,000 - $180,000 annually. On-site.
- Note: Pay range is not a guarantee and varies by candidate; contingent upon successful background check and drug test. As a US Federal Contractor, must be a U.S. Person.
