Senior SW Test Engineer for Testing Embedded Systems - Custom Products

About the Role Senior SW Test Engineer for Testing Embedded Systems - Custom Products will plan the product test approach, write and execute test plans for embedded systems, and drive both manual and automated testing across products. This role requires close collaboration with software developers to document faults and contribute to test strategy and production readiness. What You'll Do

• Plan the product test approach and scope; review project requirements and provide feedback.
• Write, execute, and maintain software and hardware test cases; develop automated test scripts.
• Execute test cases, manage defects, and communicate issues, risks, and status in a timely manner.
• Drive production readiness and support production/shipment of final product.
• Analyze, develop, design, and maintain manual and automated test scripts; perform system integration of software and hardware to maintain throughput and program consistency.
• Develop, validate, and test user documentation; assist in resolving customer field issues on live systems.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across UI, regression, performance, fault tolerance, and capacity for multiple products/projects.
• Collaborate with software developers to document faults, debug, and resolve problems. What We're Looking For
• Minimum of 2 years software test development experience or embedded software experience; desire to move into a software test development role.
• Demonstrated commitment to quality with a passion for testing.
• Experience in functional and automated software testing.
• Experience in testing hardware and embedded systems.
• Experience with testing Android products is desired.
• Experience establishing automated and manual software test strategies and processes.
• Experience with Jira is a plus.
• Experience with Git version control is desired.
• Strong ability to work independently and with highly cross-functional teams.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Nice to Have
• Experience with Android product testing is desired. Compensation & Benefits
• Target Base Salary Range: $110,500 - $133,000 USD. Salary within this range varies based on knowledge, skills and experience.
