Help build a supportive community where people can take positive steps towards recovery.
Priory Tudor House is set in a lovely rural location in Grafton Regis, around a 20-minute drive from the outskirts of Northampton and Milton Keynes, with free parking on site.
Work will be full time, 3 long days, 7am to 7pm, and some nights covering the week on a rota, Monday to Sunday.
As a Senior Support Worker in our residential addiction service, you’ll combine direct support for clients with day-to-day leadership of our Support Worker team. Through conversation, shared activities and practical encouragement, you’ll help create a welcoming environment where clients feel valued, respected and involved in their recovery.

What you'll be doing
As an experienced support worker you will help guide clients through daily group sessions, evening recovery-focused activities and psychoeducational workshops. Each element is designed to help clients develop practical coping strategies, build resilience and reduce their responses to everyday triggers.
- Building positive relationships with clients, supporting their recovery and encouraging involvement in the Tudor House community.
- Supervising and supporting colleagues to deliver person-centred care, activities and support with daily living and personal care where needed.
- Coordinating shift handovers, allocating tasks and adapting priorities as clients’ needs change.
- Leading by example, coaching Support Workers and ensuring they spend meaningful, productive time engaging with clients.
- Taking keyworking responsibility for individual clients, helping them set goals and review their progress.
- Maintaining high standards of record keeping, ensuring support plans, daily records and required reports are accurate and up to date.
- Recognising changes in wellbeing, responding to immediate concerns and escalating risks to the management team.
- Working constructively with families, colleagues and other professionals, contributing ideas to improve the service.
