About the Role Senior Substation Physical Engineer to join Leidos' Power Delivery Services Team. You will work on substation physical design projects for electric utilities at voltages from 12kV up to 500kV, collaborating with engineers, designers, and CAD technicians to implement client standards while meeting scope, schedule, and budget. What You'll Do
- Execute substation physical design projects and perform quality control checks.
- Read and design substation physical drawings such as one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, plan-section drawings, foundation and grounding drawings.
- Create and verify bills of materials for substation physical designs.
- Attend site visits at customer locations and coordinate with clients and internal teams.
- Apply knowledge of digital logic design, AC/DC circuits to inform substation designs.
