About this role
Job title: Senior Strategy Consultant
About the Role Flip is transforming from a frontline communications platform to a system of action. As our Senior Strategy Consultant, you will build Flip's consulting practice from the ground up, running pre-sales engagements to accelerate enterprise deals and post-sales projects to evolve customers into full operating platforms. You’ll begin as a functional leader and grow to lead the practice you create.
What You'll Do
- Build Flip's consulting practice from the ground up, defining the operating model, methodology, and commercial motion for Flip Consulting: how we position, scope, price, and deliver engagements across the customer lifecycle. Establish playbooks and standards, collaborate with CSM, Customer Engineering, Solution Engineering, and Enterprise/Strategic sales, and lay the foundation for scale.
- Lead pre-sales engagements that drive deals: position, sell, and execute pre-projects for enterprise prospects; translate operational pain into software value with clear ROI; run workshops on the shop floor; interview senior stakeholders; present results to senior management.
- Lead post-sales value realization with existing customers, partnering with Enterprise CSMs to expand their use of Flip into an operating system of action across all business areas; design the next horizon and deliver it.
- Productize what works into industry target operating models across core verticals (retail, manufacturing, automotive, logistics): best practices, archetypes, decentralized setups and permissions, reference use cases, and flows to scale onboarding and implementation.
What We're Looking For
- 4–8 years in high-pace technical consulting at a renowned firm or in a Forward Deployed Consultant / Engineering role at a fast-scaling tech company.
- Broad credibility: able to run a workshop with a COO and discuss ERP integrations with an Enterprise Architect; fluent in APIs, low-code platforms, and enterprise integrations (SSO, HRIS, ERP, ticketing).
- End-to-end delivery track record: scoping problems, designing solutions, and delivering results with credibility across technical and operating stakeholders.
- Commercial instincts: ROI-driven, able to influence revenue through closing engagements, expanding accounts, or owning numbers.
- Native German and fluent English.
Nice to Have
- Track record of building teams or practices; formal management or leading project teams to develop others.
- You move fast and can operate with ambiguity and minimal supervision.
- Firsthand understanding of frontline work.
Compensation & Benefits
- Work mode: remote-first, with optional in-person collaboration in Berlin or Stuttgart; occasional team events, workshops, or meetings.
- Work-Life-Balance: we cover the costs of E-Gym-Wellpass membership and offer job bike leasing.
- Culture: highly motivated, committed people in a relaxed working atmosphere; you actively shape Flip and contribute to rapid growth.
- Social aspects: regular team events and culture days; opportunities to work abroad within the EU during the interview process.
