Our client is a US-based digital marketing agency helping businesses across healthcare, wellness, professional services, and home services grow their online presence through strategic digital marketing solutions.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Strategic Social Media Manager with a strong background in leading social media strategy for major brands and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience working with established global agencies such as Ogilvy, WPP, Publicis, Dentsu, Havas, VML, or similar organizations.
This is a senior strategic role, not simply a content scheduling or social media execution position. You will be responsible for developing social media strategies from the ground up, aligning them with clients' business objectives, driving measurable results, leading client presentations, and mentoring a junior team member.
Candidates must be prepared to present real-world examples of strategies they have developed, explaining the initial brief, strategic approach, execution, and measurable business results.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop and lead comprehensive B2B and B2C social media strategies aligned with client business goals and revenue objectives.
Build channel strategies from the ground up, identifying target audiences, content pillars, and growth opportunities.
Plan and manage organic and paid campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Conduct social media audits, competitor analysis, and develop strategic recommendations for clients and prospects.
Lead influencer marketing campaigns, including creator selection, partnerships, execution, and ROI measurement.
Present strategies and campaign results to clients, manage relationships, and pitch new opportunities to grow accounts.
Establish KPIs, analyze campaign performance, and deliver actionable reports.
Lead content planning and collaborate with creative and paid media teams to execute campaigns.
Mentor and manage a junior social media team member, overseeing workflows, priorities, and deliverables.
Who are we looking for?
6–8 years of direct social media strategy and management experience, preferably within established global marketing agencies.
Experience working at agencies such as Ogilvy, WPP, Publicis, Dentsu, Havas, VML, or other comparable global agencies.
Proven ability to develop social media strategies from scratch and connect them directly to clients' commercial goals.
Strong experience managing both B2B and B2C social media strategies across organic and paid channels.
Experience working with industries such as healthcare, medical technology, dental, aesthetics, legal, veterinary, or home services.
Strong client-facing skills, including presenting strategies, consulting, and leading senior-level client discussions.
Hands-on experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Hootsuite, and ClickUp.
Experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
Excellent written and verbal English, analytical skills, and strategic thinking.
Additional Plus: Experience with GoHighLevel, influencer marketing, and analytics/reporting tools.
