About the Role Senior Staff UX Writer, International is responsible for shaping Airbnb's product language for global markets, ensuring that interface copy respects regional needs, cultural nuances, and regulatory contexts. Based in London as part of the International UX Writing team, you will partner with Experience Design, Experience Research, and Design Program Management to craft compelling, consistent language across products and experiences. What You'll Do
- Collaborate with Experience Design, Experience Research, and Design Program Management to support the product development process from beginning to end.
- Own upfront storytelling, end-to-end systems design, and meticulous execution to create localized language and interfaces that resonate with local audiences.
- Apply a deep understanding of regional needs, cultural and linguistic norms, and regulatory environments to craft language that localizes Airbnb products.
- Help make Airbnb’s products more local by aligning copy with regional context and user expectations. What We're Looking For
- Experience in UX writing with ability to tell stories through product copy, including upfront storytelling.
- Ability to design and implement end-to-end language systems that support localization and scalable copy.
- Strong execution, collaboration, and communication skills to work across cross-functional teams addressing regional needs, cultural norms, and regulatory considerations.
- Passion for localizing products to resonate with diverse global audiences.
