About the Role Senior Staff Physical Verification CAD Engineer is a key CAD member of Marvell Central Engineering, leading efforts to develop next-generation automated design flows and add-on tools. You will use extensive design and CAD knowledge to help define the organization's design infrastructure, methodology, and workflows.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain leading-edge PV flows addressing the needs of Marvell’s various Business Units.
• Develop and maintain automated design flow and add-on tools; contribute to deployment and ongoing support.
• Sustain and scale PV signoff flows as Marvell expands into advanced technologies (A14, 2nm, 3nm, N5/N5A, 3DIC, PMIC).
• onboard extensive third-party IP and ensure efficient collaboration with non-US IP suppliers to maintain high-quality PV signoff.
• Work in collaboration with the rest of the team to ensure optimal integration inside the overall CAD platform.
• Propose innovative solutions to ever-increasing design challenges; keep up with process and tool evolutions.
• Interface with EDA vendors for optimal tool usage.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers; lead projects as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Education and experience: BS in CS/EE with 5–10 years, or MS/PhD with 3–5 years of experience.
• Proficiency with Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, and scripting languages (Tcl, Perl, Python); Synopsys ICV is required; Mentor Calibre svrf/tvf is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the complete IC design flow from front-end (RTL, synthesis, simulation) through back-end physical implementation (place and route, timing analysis, physical verification).
• Proven ability to lead projects, provide technical guidance, and mentor junior engineers.

Nice to Have

• Experience with advanced technologies and packaging like A14, 2nm, 3nm, N5/N5A, 3DIC, and PMIC.
• Experience onboarding third-party IP and coordinating with global suppliers.
