Senior Staff People Analytics Executive Insights Lead

Intuit
Mountain View, California
On-siteUSD 184,000 - 249,000 / year

About this role

Senior Staff People Analytics Executive Insights Lead

Intuit is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Business Data Analyst to join our People Data & Analytics team. Our team partners closely with Intuit's HR leaders, COEs, Finance, and business partners to deliver data-driven insights that shape our people strategies and elevate decision-making across the company. We are looking for an experienced Analyst to own our executive insights and enablement portfolio: recurring workforce reporting for senior leadership, and the fast-turnaround analysis senior HR leaders rely on to make organizational, workforce planning, and talent decisions in real time, not after the fact.

In this role, you will be responsible for turning analysis into executive narratives that leaders act on, with the judgement to decide what a number means and to proactively surface insights and meaningful recommendations across the entire employee lifecycle. You will partner directly with Directors, VP+, and the broader community to move recommendations from insight to action, and will own ongoing analytics deliverables, HR enablement, and the continuous feedback loops that keep the team ahead of what leadership needs next.

Working across the broader People Analytics team, you will partner on the data & AI analytics products, and models that inform executive decisions, proactively identifying the patterns and risks worth flagging to leadership, combining hands-on analysis with the advisory judgment to turn findings into executive narratives, and the discretion to handle sensitive workforce information appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Key Focus Areas

  • Executive Storytelling & Reporting Ownership

  • Own recurring workforce reporting and analysis deliverables for senior leadership end to end, reconciling narrative input from multiple senior HR partners into one credible, executive-ready story.

  • Own the organization's core executive workforce reporting suite as a product: definitions, cadence, access, and roadmap.

  • Turn analysis into narrative for HRBP, Director, and VP+ audiences: what the data says, why it matters, and what to do about it.

  • Turn an ambiguous business question into a clear analytical approach, and know when a one-off request is worth building into a standing deliverable.

  • Executive Analysis & Advisory

  • Serve as the senior analytical partner for leadership-level requests, including time-bound analysis spanning across the entire employee lifecycle.

  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion with sensitive workforce information.

  • Analyze data with depth to identify trends and patterns that improve decision making

  • Support strategic initiatives across People & Places by translating leadership priorities into an analytics agenda, sequencing the work to match when decisions actually get made.

  • Enablement Across HR

  • Drive analytics enablement across the HR and HRBP community, identifying opportunities for self-service, AI-powered solutions, and workflow automation.

  • Feed demand signals from the field back to the broader People Analytics team to shape the enablement roadmap.

  • Help set the standard for how workforce data should be interpreted and used across HR, so definitions and quality do not vary by who happens to answer the question.

  • Decision-Making and Influence

  • Act as a trusted advisor to HRBP, Director, and VP+ stakeholders, with the presence to sit in the room and the credibility to stand behind a recommendation under scrutiny.

  • Partner across the broader People Analytics team, HRBPs, and P&P COEs to keep the executive reporting layer consistent with the broader analytics portfolio.

  • Influence through storytelling, actively seeking feedback to build shared understanding of insights and recommendations across HRBPs, Business, and Finance stakeholders.

  • Communicate directly with senior stakeholders on sensitive or fast-moving topics, calibrating message and detail to the audience and the moment.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of People Analytics, or Human Capital Consulting experience with a track record of advising senior stakeholders on workforce insights.

  • Highly data-driven, consultative, a great communicator and storyteller who can influence executive stakeholders by translating data into insights and solutions for their business problems.

  • Strong understanding of HR data and employee lifecycle processes (talent acquisition, workforce planning, talent development, internal mobility, employee listening etc.).

  • Strong data analytics skills with the ability to leverage multiple internal and external data sources to enable data-driven insights and inform strategic talent decisions.

  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex analysis into a narrative that changes a decision for senior leadership audiences, rather than one that only describes a situation.

  • Proven judgment handling sensitive workforce data.

  • Experience identifying and closing enablement gaps across a large stakeholder community through dashboards, self-service tools, or AI-powered solutions.

  • Comfort triaging competing leadership requests and knowing what to prioritize first.

  • Experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate analysis and reporting.

  • Comfort working across SQL, Python, or R.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to and influencing senior and executive audiences.

  • Passion for enabling data-driven, equitable people processes that foster growth and inclusion.

  • Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
