About Marvell
Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.
At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.
Your Team, Your Impact
Marvell’s Supply Chain Master Data (SCMD) team is a newly established global function that safeguards the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the master data powering supply chain planning and execution across parts, BOMs, manufacturing flows, planning and engineering parameters, and resource records.
In Marvell’s fabless semiconductor model, high-quality master data is critical to seamless execution across foundry, OSAT, test, hub, and customer operations. SCMD enables reliable planning, reduces operational risk, and helps prevent NPI delays, planning disruptions, and customer escalations.
What You Can Expect
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in semiconductor supply chain operations, master data management, NPI planning, supply chain & capacity planning, or supply chain data governance.
- Strong understanding of fabless semiconductor manufacturing flows and related master data across foundry, OSAT, assembly, test, and hub operations.
- Experience with supplier/site governance, Capacity Planning master data, PCN qualification, B2B integration, yield data management, and Plan vs. Actual operating reviews.
- Strong data governance experience, including defining data standards, ownership models, stewardship processes, validation controls, approval workflows, and governance routines that ensure reliable master data across systems and business functions.
- Strong leadership and influence skills, with the ability to drive alignment across engineering, operations, and supplier organizations.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, including experience with planning systems, WIP/Inventory data, and driving data accuracy across systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with data analytics tools; experience with forecasting and planning models is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred), Planning Systems (Kinaxis preferred) and supply chain dashboards for data quality tracking and reporting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and present clear, actionable insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
What We're Looking For
This role offers an opportunity to help build a foundational SCMD capability for Marvell. The position owns product and supply planning master data across the full lifecycle—from item and BOM creation in Agile PLM and Oracle ERP synchronization to capacity, planning parameters, supplier governance, B2B integration quality, and yield data stewardship—while partnering with NPI, engineering, planning, procurement, and IT teams to enable reliable planning and flawless manufacturing execution.
Product Master Data Process
- Manage the overall process for item, BOM, and routing setup from prototype through EOL across Agile PLM and Oracle ERP.
- Drive change-control process discipline for BOM revisions from NPI through production.
- Drive process improvements for BOM, part setup, AVL, routing, and planning parameters
- Coordinate with Supply Chain Planning and NPI planning to finalize First-of-a-kind BOM/routing changes and institutionalize reusable, repeatable processes.
- Improve change-order tracking processes to close gaps and reduce cycle time.
Supply Chain Planning Parameters & Capacity Data
- Own the process of managing planning parameters (allocation splits, time-phased preferences, loading rules) across ERP and planning systems.
- Lead the process transformation from spreadsheet-based tracking to scalable, system-integrated global single source of capacity data
- Own the process for maintaining lead time and engineering inputs including purchasing lead times, cycle times, GDPW, assembly/test yield, bin distribution.
- Lead Plan vs. Actual review processes to identify and correct gaps between planning and current operational performance.
- Ensure zero defects in planning parameters and capacity data through robust process and ongoing validation
Data Quality & Governance Process Improvement
- Monitor KPIs across parts, BOMs, PLM-ERP sync, capacity, lead time, B2B integration, and planning parameters.
- Lead root-cause analysis and build upstream process controls that prevent recurring data quality issues.
- Drive process standardization across naming, lifecycle states, duplicates, and stale data to mature governance.
- Own the gate-readiness check process across NPI milestones: POR, TO, 1st Silicon, ES, Qual, PR, and MPR.
This role is eligible to participate in Marvell's bonus and equity plans, including a new hire equity grant and annual equity refreshers, ensuring you are rewarded for your contributions and remain invested in the company's long-term success.
