Job title: Senior Staff Engineer, Test Engineering
About the Role A test development engineer in the Operations group who tests features on Marvell's silicon chips for internal and external customers. You ensure products ship with high quality and specification conformance, working closely with design to ensure features are testable. You may write code or develop new testing strategies when our chips outpace current testing equipment.
What You'll Do
- Lead Cutting-Edge ATE Test Solutions: spearhead development of ATE test solutions for characterization, production, and wafer sort on Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne tester platforms.
- Innovate High-Speed Testing Hardware: design and develop advanced ATE test hardware for high-speed testing.
- Craft Comprehensive Test Plans: create detailed test plans and methodologies documentation.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: participate in testability and test plan reviews with DFx and Design teams to improve yield and test methodologies.
- Transform Test Patterns: convert test patterns from the design simulation environment to ATE format.
- Optimize and Innovate: lead optimization of test flows, reduce test times, remove unnecessary steps, improve yields, and release production test programs with product engineers.

What We're Looking For
- Experience as a test development engineer in the semiconductor industry, with hands-on work on ATE platforms (Advantest 93K and/or Teradyne) or similar.
- Ability to translate design patterns into production-ready ATE tests; fluent with testability concepts and DFx collaboration.
- Experience in designing/test hardware and writing test plans and verification.
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills, with a track record of improving test efficiency and yields.
