Role overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior SQL (DBA) Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Argentina, Mexico, Costa Rica. Our client is a prominent GovTech company offering a cloud-based ERP solution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SQL Server (2022 / T-SQL) development experience

• Strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning

• Experience optimizing reporting databases

• Strong experience with stored procedures, views, indexing, joins, and temporary tables

• Experience analyzing and optimizing query execution plans

• Ability to identify the most efficient solution for complex SQL performance issues

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Nice to Have

• Experience supporting Tableau reporting environments

• Experience working with legacy applications

• Experience with Data Warehousing concepts (current environment does not have a Data Warehouse)

Responsibilities

• Optimize SQL Server databases for reporting workloads

• Develop and optimize SQL views and stored procedures

• Design and maintain indexes to improve query performance

• Optimize joins, temporary tables, and query execution

• Identify the best technical solution for performance bottlenecks

• Work closely with the Tableau Developer to optimize data retrieval for reports
