As a core member of our Record to Report JE & Reporting Team, you'll take ownership of financial reporting and general ledger processes across multiple legal entities — bringing accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement to the heart of our global finance operations. This role gives you real visibility into the business, meaningful collaboration with financial controllers and cross-functional teams, and the chance to actively shape how we standardize and evolve our accounting processes across a fast-growing international organization.

What you will be doing

Financial Reporting & General Ledger

• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations for all legal entities in scope, ensuring accuracy and full compliance
• Monitor and review general ledger accounts to guarantee the integrity of financial data during period-end closings
• Execute daily, monthly, and ad-hoc closing activities in line with the group schedule

Compliance & Process Documentation

• Maintain and update process documentation, including DTPs and process maps
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements across all entities

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities to standardize and enhance accounting processes
• Contribute to global improvement initiatives and help drive smarter, more efficient ways of working

Stakeholder Collaboration & Audit Support

• Act as a key liaison between customer service, sales teams, and Financial Controllers to address and resolve finance-related issues
• Support interim and year-end audits by providing accurate data and responding to auditor queries

Team Support & Mentoring

• Guide and mentor less experienced team members, sharing your expertise and best practices
• Support the Team Lead in achieving the team's operational goals

You will report to the Record-to-Report Team Lead.

What you need to succeed

Experience & Technical Expertise

• At least 6 years of professional experience in accounting, including 4+ years in general ledger accounting
• Practical knowledge of accounting or audit processes
• Hands-on experience with SAP Finance and reconciliation tools such as Blackline
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel

Languages

• Very good written and spoken English

Education

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
