About the Role The Senior Specialist, Mechanical Engineer, CAE (L4) at L3Harris supports mission-critical defense technology initiatives by applying CAE methods to mechanical design and analysis. You will help deliver end-to-end technology solutions across space, air, land, sea and cyber domains, aligned with customers’ mission and our culture of excellence.
What You'll Do
- Apply CAE methods to mechanical design problems and drive simulations, validation, and optimization.
- Develop and review CAE models and scenarios to inform design decisions and trade studies.
- Collaborate with design engineering, systems engineering, and program teams to integrate CAE results into programs.
- Support program execution from proposal through delivery, contributing technical leadership and mentorship as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Degree (Bachelor's or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience applying CAE techniques to mechanical systems and components.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced defense/tech environment.
