Senior Sourcing Manager - APAC

About the Role As Senior Sourcing Manager for APAC in Kuala Lumpur, you will be a key part of our Global Diagnostics Procurement (DOP) team. You will lead end-to-end sourcing projects, mentor a rising team of Sourcing Managers, and serve as a primary advisor to executive leadership, influencing value delivery and supplier engagement across the region. What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end sourcing projects across the APAC region and manage relationships with Category, Delivery, and external suppliers.
• Mentor a team of Sourcing Managers and act as a key advisor to executive leadership.
• Drive performance metrics (PPV savings, preferred supplier share, cycle times) and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Execute global sourcing activities (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs) and conduct NPI benchmarking with Category/NPI managers.
• Set up and review high-complexity contracts (e.g., MSAs) and manage contract lifecycle/documentation.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert to simplify workflows, ensure compliance with global policies, and optimize value delivery.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to resolve supplier-related bottlenecks and champion CSR initiatives (diversity, sustainability, ethics).
• Manage conflicts, provide frequent updates to the CoE Leadership Team (LT) and DPLT, and collaborate with regional Sourcing peers. What We're Looking For
• University degree in Business or Life Sciences; MBA or equivalent and professional certifications (CIPS, ISM) desirable.
• 5-7+ years of experience in sourcing and end-to-end contract management; proven track record of driving procurement projects (cost-reduction, value-improvement).
• Deep knowledge of regional supplier landscape and complex direct procurement categories: EMS & e-components, Plastics & Packaging, Biologicals & Chemicals.
• AI & Digitalization: strong affinity for AI applications and digital transformation (Digital 2.0 / Industry 4.0).
• Systems & Analytics: proficient with SAP data, P2P workflows, eSourcing/eAuction platforms, BI tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot).
• Mindset & Soft Skills: analytical problem-solving, strong communication, conflict resolution.
• Mentorship & Global Leadership: experience leading cross-location teams and high cultural intelligence.
• Languages: business-level English; Chinese and German are assets. Nice to Have
