Senior Solutions Architect

About the Role Role Purpose: Create exceptional architectural solution design and thought leadership to enable delivery teams to deliver exceptional client engagement and satisfaction. Drive enterprise-wide architecture that is scalable, reliable, and aligned with business outcomes. What You'll Do

• Develop architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests; create enterprise-wide architecture that is scalable, reliable, and manageable; provide solutioning for RFPs and ensure design assurance.
• Develop direction to manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions (systems, shared infrastructure services, applications) to better match business outcomes.
• Analyze technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration solution design framework/architecture.
• Provide technical leadership to the design, development and implementation of custom solutions using modern technology.
• Define current state solutions and identify improvements, options & tradeoffs to define target state solutions.
• Articulate, document, and sell architectural targets, recommendations and reusable patterns; propose investment roadmaps.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with the overall technology ecosystem.
• Collaborate with IT groups to transition tasks, ensure performance, and manage issues to resolution; perform detailed documentation of architectural design and artefacts.
• Validate the solution/prototype from technology, cost structure, and customer differentiation standpoint; identify problem areas and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with sales, program/project, and consulting teams to reconcile solutions with architecture; track industry and application trends related to IT needs.
• Provide technical and strategic input during project planning in the form of architectural designs and recommendations.
• Collaborate with all relevant parties to review objectives/constraints and confirm conformance with Enterprise Architecture; identify implementation risks and impacts.
• Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/frameworks: build relationships with executives, product owners, and other stakeholders; establish KPIs/SLAs; manage multiple projects; assess risks and prepare mitigation plans; ensure QA of architecture decisions; promote reuse and automation.
• Lead development and maintenance of an enterprise framework and related artefacts; foster trust and collaboration across product teams; ensure architecture principles are consistently applied; support client engagement and pre-sales with solution design principles.
• Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability in front of clients to win confidence as a trusted advisor. What We're Looking For
• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture and solution design for large deals and major changes; ability to define current/target states and investment roadmaps.
• Strong technical leadership and ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements; effective collaboration with sales, PM/Program, and consulting teams.
• Proven ability to document architecture clearly, create reusable patterns, and drive architectural conformance and risk management.
• Experience with RFP solutioning, pre-sales support, and compelling client engagement.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and thought leadership capabilities; ability to present to clients and senior leadership. Nice to Have
• Experience developing Proofs of Concepts (POCs), case studies, and demos for new growth areas.
• Ability to author white papers and blogs; contribute to Wipro’s thought leadership and forums.
