Senior Solution Architect

About the Role The role aims to create exceptional architectural solution designs and thought leadership while enabling delivery teams to achieve outstanding client engagement and satisfaction. You will shape enterprise-wide architectures that are scalable, reliable, and manageable, and drive solutioning for new deals and major change requests. What You'll Do

• Develop architectural solutions for new deals and major change requests; create an enterprise-wide architecture that ensures systems are scalable, reliable, and manageable.
• Provide solutioning for RFPs from clients and ensure overall design assurance.
• Define and manage the portfolio of to-be-solutions including systems, shared infrastructure services, and applications to align with business outcomes.
• Analyze the technology environment, enterprise specifics, and client requirements to set a collaboration solution design framework/architecture.
• Provide technical leadership to the design, development and implementation of custom solutions through thoughtful use of modern technology.
• Define and understand current state solutions; identify improvements, options & tradeoffs to define target state solutions.
• Clearly articulate, document and sell architectural targets, recommendations and reusable patterns; propose investment roadmaps.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions to integrate with the broader technology ecosystem; work with IT groups to transition tasks and manage issues to resolution.
• Perform detailed documentation (App view, multiple sections & views) of the architectural design and solution, mentioning all artefacts in detail.
• Validate the solution/prototype from technology, cost structure and customer differentiation perspectives.
• Identify problem areas, perform root cause analysis of architectural design and solutions, and provide relevant remedies.
• Collaborate with sales, program/project, and consulting teams to reconcile solutions with architecture. Track industry and application trends and relate them to current and future IT needs.
• Provide technical and strategic input during project planning in the form of architectural designs and recommendations.
• Collaborate with relevant parties to review objectives and constraints and ensure conformance with the Enterprise Architecture; identify implementation risks and potential impacts.
• Enable Delivery Teams by providing optimal delivery solutions/frameworks.
• Build and maintain relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects and other stakeholders to become a trusted advisor.
• Develop and establish relevant technical, business process and overall support metrics (KPI/SLA) to drive results.
• Manage multiple projects and accurately report status while adhering to project management standards.
• Identify technical, process, and structural risks; prepare risk mitigation plans for all projects.
• Ensure quality assurance of all architecture/design decisions and provide technical mitigation support to delivery teams.
• Recommend tools for reuse and automation to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
• Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise framework and related artefacts.
• Drive client engagement, support pre-sales by presenting the entire solution design and its principles to the client; negotiate and coordinate with client teams to ensure requirements are met.
• Demonstrate thought leadership with strong technical capability in front of clients to win confidence and act as a trusted advisor. What We're Looking For
• Proven experience in enterprise architecture and solution design with ability to define architectures for scalable and reliable systems.
• Strong technical leadership to guide design, development and delivery.
• Experience with RFP responses, pre-sales support, and client-facing engagements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present to executives and negotiate with client teams.
• Aptitude for mentoring developers, designers and junior architects; ability to contribute to architecture practice through interviews and selection processes.
• Experience documenting architecture artefacts, managing risks, and ensuring conformance with enterprise standards.
• Familiarity with modern technologies and industry trends; ability to translate trends into IT needs and architectural plans.
• Ability to collaborate across sales, delivery, and consulting teams and to manage multiple priorities. Nice to Have
• Experience developing Proofs of Concept (POCs), demos, and case studies for growth areas.
• Ability to write white papers, blogs, and other thought-leadership content; experience speaking at forums (internal/external).
• Market referenceability and recognition through analyst rankings, client testimonials and partner credits.
