About the Role
Senior Solution Architect at SailPoint, based in Pune, India, responsible for leading technical delivery of identity governance solutions and serving as a trusted advisor to customers and partners as you grow from technical lead to consultant and adviser.
What You'll Do
- Located in Pune, supporting APJ timezones.
- Gather customers' business use cases and document product-based requirements with recommended solution designs.
- Educate customers and partners on high-level product architecture, functional design, and best practices.
- Assist in scoping, analysis, and documentation of implementation projects.
- Develop and deliver technical training to enable SailPoint implementation partners.
- Help implementation team members design creative solutions to complex problems.
- Assist with the actual technical delivery of the solution via written code or complex configuration.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of professional work experience in an enterprise software company, systems integrator, or consulting firm; 5+ years of SailPoint / IDAM experience.
- Experience in software development, implementation, and configuration.
- Excellent communications skills and extensive experience working directly with clients and partners; strong customer-facing consultative experience.
- Experience with XML, SPML/SOAP, web and application servers; Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms; Relational databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL); NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis); Directories (LDAP, AD); Java, BeanShell, JavaScript, Node.js; ERP/Service management systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow); Cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); Front-end languages (HTML, CSS, Angular, React, Vue.js).
- Preferred: Familiarity with other identity governance vendors (Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, IBM, or Novell) and familiarity with AI/ML concepts and RBAC/least-privilege models.
- Experience with project management duties (planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation) and quality assurance duties (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts and plans).
- Education: Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent experience. J2EE certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus; SailPoint Certified Engineer or Solution Architect is a plus and expected within 12 months of hire.
