Locations: Abuja (FCT), Kano, Lagos, Oyo and Rivers

Job Summary

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Solar Technician with strong expertise in solar systems installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales service.
• The successful candidate will handle technical issues, support customers after installation, and provide guidance to junior technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain, and repair solar systems, inverters, batteries, and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults and customer complaints relating to solar products.
• Handle after-sales service requests, including repairs, maintenance, warranty cases, and technical support.
• Conduct site visits, system assessments, and troubleshooting as required.
• Lead and supervise technicians during installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Test and assess faulty products and recommend appropriate repair or replacement solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and product support to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of service requests, repairs, installations, and technical issues.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on technical and safety procedures.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate team when required.

Requirements

• HND / B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field with 5 – 7 years of hands-on experience in solar installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and after-sales service.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems.
• Proven experience handling customer complaints and after-sales technical support.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical specifications.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and guide junior technicians.
