Senior Software Engineering Lead
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient backend services using GO following best practices and industry standards
- Build responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using React, Redux, and modern front-end libraries and frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to translate requirements into high-quality, maintainable code
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency
- Work closely with the DevOps team to deploy and maintain applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing services such as GKE
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security by leveraging GCP's capabilities and services
- Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in full stack web development, with solid proficiency in Node.js and React
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., BQ)
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation
- Solid understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, and modern web development practices
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and containerization technologies like Docker
- Demonstrated solid problem-solving and debugging skills
- Demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment
- English - Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
