About the Role YipitData is hiring two Senior Software Engineers (alternative title: Senior Backend Engineer). One will join our Infrastructure Team and the other will join our Data Feeds Team. This is a fully-remote opportunity based in India. You will build and maintain scalable data connectors, pipelines, and services that fetch ERP data and power high-availability data processing, in collaboration with global teams. What You'll Do
- Infrastructure Team: Implement connectors to fetch ERP data with high availability.
- Infrastructure Team: Design and implement or upgrade backend APIs to meet evolving customer requirements.
- Infrastructure Team: Own ERP data storage to ensure efficient, secure storage and readiness for action.
- Infrastructure Team: Serve as a Business-Tech liaison bridging business requirements and technical solutions.
- Infrastructure Team: Maintain and upgrade existing services with governance and iterative improvements.
- Infrastructure Team: Collaborate with US/SG/China teams and adapt to flexible hours.
- Data Feeds Team: Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Data Feeds Team: Maintain existing data systems for stability, reliability, and high availability.
- Data Feeds Team: Build and refine an expandable, high-performance data architecture.
- Data Feeds Team: Provide high-quality data services to internal users across teams.
- Data Feeds Team: Design data functionalities aligned with product and business requirements, including intuitive visualizations.
- Data Feeds Team: Oversee integration with third-party data sources and client data feeds.
- Data Feeds Team: Collaborate with US/SG/China teams and maintain flexible hours.
- Data Feeds Team: Enforce data governance, security, and compliance. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with backend API development and upgrades, data pipelines, and data storage.
- Experience building scalable data architectures and working with data services.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones (US/SG/China) and be flexible with work hours.
