About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join Valce Talent Solutions. This remote role in Mexico requires 5+ years of software development experience and a strong foundation in object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns. You’ll work with Java, JavaScript, React, and AWS to build backend and frontend solutions and contribute to AI-enabled tooling and test automation. What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend services in Java and frontend interfaces using JavaScript/React/TypeScript
- Collaborate with teammates and clients, contributing to system design and architecture (MVC, REST, GraphQL)
- Implement cloud-based solutions on AWS and manage DevOps workflows with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes
- Write automated unit and integration tests (XUnit, MSTest, Jasmine)
- Participate in AI-enabled tooling, prompt engineering, and code tooling around Cursor/Claude Sonnet
- Use version control (Git, Azure DevOps) and package managers (NPM, Yarn, NuGet) What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong OO concepts and CS fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, design patterns)
- Excellent English communication with team members and clients
- Experience with core tech: Backend Java, Frontend JavaScript/TypeScript/React, HTML5/CSS3, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS
- Familiarity with patterns: MVC, MVVM, SOA, REST, GraphQL; Source control: Git; DevOps: Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes; Testing: XUnit, MSTest, Jasmine Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS, Azure DevOps, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Terraform
