Job title: Senior Software Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fully remote engagement with Hexaware. The role focuses on software engineering with Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and strong design/architecture capabilities. This is a remote project expected to last about six months, with English communication a key requirement.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement software solutions using Ruby on Rails and MySQL.
- Collaborate with frontend teams or frontend integration.
- Apply software engineering best practices, including unit testing, code reviews, and maintaining design documentation.
- Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and MySQL
- Strong design and architecture skills
- Experience with software engineering best practices (unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)
- Advanced English communication
Nice to Have
- Bonus points for frontend integration experience
