About the Role A Senior Software Engineer at ARCOS is a technical leader and mentor within our agile development team, responsible for collaborating with the team and designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions while driving innovation and best practices. This role is a hybrid role: twice a week in our office in Guadalajara. What You'll Do
- Serve as a technical leader and mentor within the agile development team
- Collaborate with the team to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions
- Drive innovation and best practices in software engineering
- Work in a hybrid model with in-office presence twice a week in Guadalajara What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent proficiency in full-stack enterprise software development (UI, backend, API, database)
- Strong technical foundation in software engineering design principles and architectural patterns
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement robust and scalable systems
- Proven capability to tackle challenging technical issues
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences; ability to explain complex technical concepts to peers and junior engineers
- Experience leveraging GenAI coding tools and Agentic development
- Extensive experience in Agile development, continuous integration, and delivery
- In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices
