Role overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Latin America.

Our client is a global employment and recruiting platform. The successful candidate will contribute to backend services, automation workflows, Salesforce integrations, and AI-assisted sales tooling.

This role involves building scalable backend solutions using Java or Python, developing REST API and webhook integrations, supporting CRM automation, and improving lead routing processes. The position is ideal for an experienced backend engineer who is comfortable working with microservices, external integrations, Salesforce, and automation systems.

The position requires overlap with U.S. working hours.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.

• Strong experience with Java or Python.

• Experience building and maintaining backend services and microservices.

• Hands-on experience with REST API integration and webhook development.

• Experience with Salesforce platform development or Salesforce API integrations.

• Experience with CRM automation and lead routing systems.

• Understanding of Salesforce Omnichannel, lead assignment rules, or similar automation workflows.

• Experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

• Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce Apex.

• Experience with the Calendly API.

• Experience building AI-assisted sales or SDR tooling.

• Familiarity with GTM or sales data platforms.

• Experience with automated lead qualification and routing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and automation workflows using Java, Python, and microservices.

• Develop and integrate solutions with Salesforce APIs, including EVO, Omnichannel, and lead assignment rules.

• Design and maintain REST API and webhook-based integrations.

• Support AI SDR automation, including Ghost User setup, Calendly integration, and automated lead routing.

• Contribute to the GTM data platform codebase.

• Develop reliable and scalable CRM automation solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering, sales operations, and other stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.

• Investigate and resolve issues related to backend services, API integrations, and automated workflows.

• Work within an Agile sprint process using a Jira-based backlog.

• Contribute to code quality, technical documentation, and engineering best practices.
