Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibility for implementing and operating the supported solutions within the DevOps team.Ensuring implementation that stays close to the standard in order to avoid technical debt and make optimal use of platform enhancements.Developing high-quality, sustainable solutions with a forward-looking view across the entire product lifecycle.Responsibility for the security of the products and solutions to be supported.Close collaboration across teams and products with other ServiceNow product teams.Active contribution as a central part of the DevOps product team, including the integration of connected products and systems.Use AI technologies to fulfill role responsibilities, improve development, automate tasks, and enhance efficiency.Explore, evaluate, and empower the adoption of new AI technologies within the product team and the broader ServiceNow platform.Design and develop ServiceNow SPM (ITBM) solutions across Demand, Project, Portfolio, Resource, and Financial Management.Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable technical solutions.Continuously improve SPM processes, governance, and data models.Integrate SPM with enterprise systems using standard integration technologies (REST/SOAP).Leverage AI capabilities (e.g., Now Assist) and supporting tools to enhance automation, efficiency, and developer productivity.Education & Work ExperienceCompleted a degree in computer science.5+ years of professional experience and proven success as a ServiceNow Developer.Strong hands-on experience in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM / ITBM) modules including Demand, Project, Portfolio, Resource, and Financial Management.Sound knowledge of JavaScript development, with a focus on object-oriented programming and a solid understanding of class structures, class inheritance, and software design principles.In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root cause analysis.Solid experience in designing and implementing integrations (REST/SOAP/PowerShell).Proven in-depth experience in managing ServiceNow implementation projects and integrating external systems using various integration technologies.Experience working in agile structures and implementing agile and hybrid projects, complemented by strong teamwork skills and goal orientation.Basic knowledge of AI technologies and their practical application.Basic understanding of AI ServiceNow platform capabilities (Now Assist).Experience as a full-stack developer is helpful but not required.ITIL Foundation level and project management certification are advantageous.Your ZEISS Recruiting Team:Saptarshi ChowdhuryAbout usStep out of your comfort zone, excel and redefine the limits of what is possible.
