About the Role A Senior Software Engineer to create software for Bosch Automotive Service Solutions diagnostics group. You will develop software that runs on electronic devices and collaborate with multiple departments to bring new products to life. What You'll Do
- Develop cutting edge software using C++, C#, Java, and/or Android
- Help define software architecture and design for exciting new products
- Participate in design and code reviews and adhere to software development best practices
- Provide system-wide problem-solving, production support, and issue resolution
- Support hardware board bring-up, troubleshooting, device driver development, and automated software builds
- Pursue personal development opportunities and share knowledge of latest technologies and engineering best practices
- Collaborate with multiple departments in a dynamic manufacturing facility What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar technical field; 5+ years’ experience delivering software to production environments; experience with architectures across platforms (mobile apps, web apps/services, stand-alone, distributed) on Android and/or iOS; Windows server/desktop a plus
- 3+ years' experience using C++, C#, Java, Kotlin, Maui, Xamarin, HTML, XML, TCP/IP, etc.
- Experience designing and using Software Design Patterns (MVC, MVP, Interfaces, etc.)
- Strong technical communications skills (oral and written)
- Full stack development on Android and/or Linux
- Ability to learn from teammates and adopt industry best practices Nice to Have
- Embedded Linux application development
- Android and/or Linux Board Support Package experience
- Android and/or Linux device driver experience
- Experience with CAN bus, TCP/IP, UDP, UART, SPI, I2C, etc. Compensation & Benefits
- U.S. base salary range: $103,000 - $135,000 per year
